英米文学研究会
英米文学研究会には、英語文学文化専攻の学生、卒業生と教員が所属しています。主な会の活動は二つの雑誌発行と講演会の企画です。
雑誌の内、一つは教員や研究者になった卒業生の研究の成果を報告するものです。もう一つは「天達賞」を受賞した学生の卒業論文を掲載しています。

毎年、卒業論文の中から優秀論文が選ばれます。優秀論文を執筆した学生は、1月末の優秀論文発表会で新4年生に向け、論文の内容や論文作成の経緯を報告します。英米文学研究会では、卒業式の日に、優秀論文賞である「天達賞」の授賞式も行っています。
また、本研究会は毎年講演会を企画します。そのときそのときに、良い刺激を与えて下さりそうな講師をお呼びしています。
2020年度も、残念ながら天達賞授賞式は中止となりました。
今年度の受賞者は、塚田春菜さん（英文学）、富澤悠さん（米文学）、長﨑柚衣さん（英語学）、小笠原悠さん（Cultural Studies / Presentation）でした。４名には、１月に国際英語専攻 English Studies コースの後輩たちに向けて online で論文の発表をしていただきましたが、onlineであっても、論旨の独創性、分析の奥深さ、執筆の苦労などは十分に伝わってきました。

2019年度天達賞授賞式は、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響により学位授与式が中止になったことを受け、残念ながら中止となりました。
今年度の受賞者は、伊藤美月さん（英文学）、宮澤祐希さん（米文学）、丸山愛未さん（英語学）、草木優里さん（Cultural Studies / Presentation）で、いずれも読みごたえのある論文でした。

2018年度天達賞授賞式 2019年3月19日
2019年3月19日（火）、卒業式終了後に、2018年度天達賞授賞式が、英語文学文化専攻会議室（23号館5階）で行われました。専攻主任の野村恵造先生より、賞の名前となっている天達文子について説明があった後、イギリス文学、アメリカ文学、英語学、Cultural Studies / Presentationの各分野より選ばれた4名に賞状と図書券が贈呈されました。受賞者は、小山万貴さん（Cultural Studies / Presentation）、大木茉莉沙さん（米文学）、中迫史音さん（英文学）、青山絵里花さん（英語学）。いずれも大変優秀な卒論でした。4名の受賞者の方々、英語文学文化専攻の先生方、またご家族の皆様も参加して記念写真を撮りました。

英米文学研究会会則
この研究会は学会と連絡をとりながら、専門の研究活動をおこない、日本における英米文学研究活動に参加し、東京女子大学の研究成果を発表するものである。
- 会 員
東京女子大学の教職員、現代教養学部人文学科英語文学文化専攻・文理学部英語文学科の学生、同卒業生、旧姓東京女子大学大学部、英語専攻部、外国語科の卒業生を中心とする。 - 会員は所定の会費を納め、機関誌の頒布を受け、これに研究を発表することができる。その他、英語文学文化専攻・英米文学科において主催する講演会、研究会に出席することができる。（現在の会費は1,000円）
