Roberto RABBINI 講師
Roberto is British with an Italian heritage and has a BA from the University of Wales (History) and an MA in Linguistics (TESOL) from the University of Surrey in the UK. He has presented at numerous domestic and international conferences and published on a variety of EFL fields, including bilinguistic development and cross-cultural psychology. He is interested in materials design and has solo and co-written popular textbooks for independent and large publishers and helped to establish the first EFL podcast in Japan (The Bob and Rob Show), which maintained a global audience of 17,000 at one point. Another field of research that interests Roberto is that of personal development, which includes under its broad umbrella the subjects of positive psychology, motivation and personal interaction skills with specific emphasis on approaches to developing effective public speakers and presenters.
He is a keen alpinist having climbed in the European Alps, Japan and in the Indo Himalaya on an expedition to unnamed peak 6194m, and when first coming to Japan studied martial arts for seven years and gained a ni-dan (2nd) black belt in Tai-jutsu and sho-dan (1st) black belt in Ju-jutsu.
