My research interests focus on English Language Policy in different countries, and specifically in Japanese high schools. I am particularly interested in learning about approaches to teacher training for English Language teachers. I have written several articles related to classroom-based practices, including inquiry-led learning, perception-based instruction of pronunciation and improving learner autonomy using vocabulary notebooks.
